Hey there, I’m Marie-Andree Racine, mama of Jackson and another little boy on the way that will be arriving end of March. Living in Squamish, BC for more than a decade now, (Wow I’m getting old) I’ve always been stoked to go on adventures and anything in relation to the outdoors, bring it on, I never get enough of those camping missions, rain or shine, summer or winter, I’m always in.
Most days you can find me playing outside with my toddler Jackson, trying to find new trails around Squamish that we haven’t explored yet. I am mostly known for always going on a crazy mission that most of my friends wouldn’t dare to go on by themselves, forget about it with a toddler.
Our adventures never stopped since we’ve had kids, It just makes them more interesting and makes us enjoy every little thing even more.
I have been an adrenaline junkie my whole life, I love to ride fast on my mountain bike, Hit some big airs on my snowboard, rip around the pool on my skateboard and hike to the top of every mountain I can get to.
I’ve been passionate about the beautiful places I’ve seen out here In British Columbia and my mission now is to show this amazing world in all ways possible to my son Jackson and his little brother that will be born soon. I want to inspire families to do the same and get out into nature and explore with their little ones. I want them to learn how to appreciate what nature has to offer, teach them some basic skills about the great outdoors and help them raise some nature lovers and adventurers.
Have you had the desire to get out and explore with your children but just don’t know how to get started or don’t have a community or friends to go out with? Well, this blog might be a good tool to give you tips and tricks about adventuring with children and help you gain some confidence doing so. I would be more than happy to help you get started.
