Oh Hi 👋🏻

We are back after a 2 weeks vacation and a much needed social media brake.

This week, we got out and explored a trail by a local beaver damn and the kids loved trying to find the beaver. We weren’t lucky enough to see the beaver, might of been a little too loud for him... haha but we got to see the damn and that was pretty special.

We’re playing another version of king of the hill... king of the stump.

On another note, who is familiar with cedar bark stripping like we can see in this photo?

Extra points if you are living in Squamish... I would love to have someone join us on one of adventure and show the kids and their family how to strip bark and what we can do with it.

Family days on the hill are priceless!

They don’t always go like we expect but every time we head up, it’s about the experience and the more we do it, the better it’s going to be each time!

I feel like sometimes as parents, our expectations are too high, some days they just aren’t feeling it and it’s totally ok to fill that way, I often have to remind myself that my kiddos are only 4 and 1 and half... I can’t expect too much from them... I started snowboarding I was 12 and I think I turned out ok...

Just a little reminder to parents out there that it’s ok if your kiddos aren’t doing as many laps as you wish they could, they will turn out fine. But pushing them too much might get them to actually hate it. Its all about fun and having a great time out there!
