On this rainy day, im not gonna lie, I do miss the sunny summer days a little...

This weather makes me want to get cozy and artsy 🍁🌧

I love going for rainy walk in search of treasures to bring back home and to create beautiful crafts with natural object.

This week’s adventure was a little stroll at the beach and a lot of discoveries...

We brought our animal tracking book and discovered lots of different paw prints from a few different animals...

This one was either a coyote or a wolf. The prints were huge and we could fully notice the huge claws (they for sure weren’t dog’s paw print)

Around the wolf prints were a lot of elk footprints, it seems like there was a lot of them and they were really deep.

We also noticed some prints that were more feline type, so maybe a bobcat or even a cougar, who knows...

Paw prints tells us a lot about the area and what might of happened in this are a few days ago...

Have you ever had some experiences with animal tracks before and trying to find out what kind of animal it was?

We definitely found more prints we taught we were gonna find we were not expecting to see wolf and feline type prints but you know what? That just reminded us that wild life is all around us, and we have to be alert of it when we are out with our kids!

Happy Thanks Giving from our family to yours!

Just wanted to say a few things I am thankful for...
• I am really thankful to have healthy children
• Thankful for this beautiful place that we live in #squamish
• Thankful for all of you that’s been following our journey on here
• I am so thankful for all of our little Explorers here in Squamish, that have been joining us on adventures.
• And I am also really thankful to have become the women I am today. Life ain’t always easy but it’s sure worth the crazy ride!

One of my favorite adventure accessory to bring for the kids while hiking is a pair of binoculars 👀

There’s something about them that the kids absolutely love and you can get them to stop and observe some things that they wouldn’t usually see without binoculars.

An other item that I absolutely love is a magnifying glass 🔎

My kids just love to watch insects and leaves trough their magnifying glass.

There is this awesome company @rex_outdoors that makes adventure vest for kids who loves to explore.

They are so handy as the kids can pack their own snacks, water bottle and their favorite adventure toys in. And what I like the best about it is that they wear it on their front so they don’t even need to take off their back pack to get to it. My son has even been wearing it on his back while biking or on steeper terrain and it works just as well in the back.

Who wants to escape the long weekend crowd and go to this lovely beach on Monday? 🙋🏻‍♀️

We went and checked out Anderson beach today before our Monday meetup and this place is absolutely gorgeous!

We even found tons of Elk tracks so make sure to bring your explorers eyes and we are going to be tracking some animal and trying to compare footprints, and to identify what kind of animal they belong to! 🐾

It’s a bit of a drive but the adventure will be so worth it!
