It’s that time of the year, the tadpoles are starting to come out at the lake and there will soon be millions of them out!

They are a lot of fun to watch, my favorite stage has to be when they are still tadpoles but have their legs, they are quite cute.

Who wants to join us this weekend for a day filled with fun activities?

The Little Explorers is hosting a summer kick off party at Junction Park downtown Squamish, Sunday, June 9th from 10 am to 2 pm
•
It’s a free event and everyone are welcome! There’s going to be bike ramps set up, slack lines, a bouldering rock to climb on, a face in a hole board and a scavenger hunt with some sweet prizes from @kidsbikescanada and @thelittleexplorers_
•
@cartediemfoodtruck will be on site for some yummy food and @katiagphoto will also be joining us to capture the moment (she will even have photo package if you are interested)
•
I hope to see you guys out there it’s going to be a super fun event and so far the weather is on our side, Yeah!

Have you ever taught that a group of 15-20 toddlers in a basketball field would be able learn some skateboard skills in less than 2 hours?
•
Well I’ve got to say I was really impresses on how this morning’s skateboard session went!
•
The little ones absolutely killed it!
•
For most of them, it was their first time ever stepping on a skateboard and they all left with some new skills under their belts.
•
They all got the feel of the board and did some back and forth rolling around, some of them even learnt to push, drop in move and some other cool tricks!
•
I think this made me realize that maybe we need to add a skateboard club to our programmation for the summer!
•
Who’s in? 🙋🏻‍♀️
•
Im pretty excited about this, it’s going to make me want to skateboard more this summer and want to keep learning new tricks and skills so I can teach the kids!
•

🛹 SKATEBOARDING 🛹
Who has been wanting to try out skateboarding but just haven’t found the time for it yet?
•
Or are you wanting to get your little one on a board?
•
Well I’ve got a good news for you, this June, we will be hosting 2 skateboard session for our Little Explorers.
•
Our first one will be on flat ground, we will have all kind of skateboards, boards without wheels as well as balance boards for the kids to try out.
•
And our second session, once the kids are a little familiar with skateboards, we will have a session at my friends mini ramp, and you won’t want to miss that, a snowboard legend will be giving the little ones his best riding tips and will even show us what can be done on a skateboard, it’s going to be such a fun session and I hope you’ll be able to make it.
•
Make sure to stay tuned for the skateboard session dates to come out on our private Facebook group, we are super excited about this and cannot wait to see all of the little ones rip around on the skates!
